THE EVALUATION
1.The Price: The price for the amount
received is good for a drive-in atmosphere. While I was
there I ordered a size small milkshake, the cost for a
small milkshake is $2.79. Of course if I had wished to add more
toppings the amount would have increased, but for the evaluation I just
ordered a vanilla milkshake.
2. The quality: The milkshakes are made with real ice cream. The overall taste of the
milkshake was spectacular in that it was creamy and flavorful for just being
vanilla. However, the milkshake was too thick. I could not even drink it; I had
to eat it like ice cream by using a spoon, which ruined the point of ordering a
milkshake.
3. Authenticity: The milkshakes
are made with real ice cream. On their website Sonic assures that each drive-in
uses different ingredients, but is made with real ingredients. These shakes are claimed to be authentic.
4. Presentation: The overall atmosphere was great for anyone wanting a milkshake in a hurry because it is quick service in a drive-in feel. The drive-in also provides a hang out environment. However, the service was not great because the car hop was not very pleasant. Also, for it not being very busy during the time I was there
it took a long time to bring the shake out. The milkshakes do come with whip cream and a cherry for toppings. Sonic also offers many flavors and
add-ins. The milkshakes come in a white Styrofoam cup with a clear lid that shows off the toppings.
5. How it is made: The milkshakes are hand mixed.
6. Overall Evaluation: The price of the shake is reasonably good because you get
toppings and a great atmosphere. Sonic is unique in terms of it being a modern
day drive in and it having toppings for each milkshake for no additional cost.
However, the downfall for the milkshake is that it was too think and not
drinkable. The service was also not
good.
